Chapter 1
“The tea and snacks have been served, please enjoy at your leisure, honored guest.”
The waiter placed the last plate of appetizers on the table, smiling and gesturing to the woman in blue robes sitting there. The woman waved her hand at her, but her gaze did not leave the people discussing downstairs.
Only to see several women gathered around a table, wearing coarse cloth shirts, their faces slightly flushed with alcohol, energetically chatting about the big events that had happened recently.
“I heard that this martial arts competition for treasure held by the Four Directions Association has attracted quite a few famous figures from the jianghu.”
“The treasure is not trivial, so naturally there are many contenders, but… this Four Directions Association is quite generous, that Deerskin Map that everyone is fighting for, they’re just giving it away so generously!”
“That’s not quite right. Although the Deerskin Map is a treasure, it depends on whose hands it’s in. If it’s in the hands of an ordinary person, it’s just a waste of paper.” The woman said as she turned the wine cup in her hand, continuing softly: “Not only useless, but it will also bring fatal disaster.”
Five Deerskin Maps, missing one and they’re all waste paper, but if you can gather them all, it’s a treasure. If you can’t gather them all, then it’s just grass. Those who came to compete this time were all either powerful and influential in the jianghu, or were heroes of certain status. With masters as numerous as clouds, for them, even if they couldn’t gather all, obtaining one piece could bring enormous benefits.
“I heard…” a woman with a drunken red face glanced around and lowered her voice, “Two of these five pieces are in the Eternal Life Pavilion. What kind of place is the Eternal Life Pavilion? Wouldn’t getting those two pieces be harder than ascending to heaven?”
“Tsk” “You also know it’s the Eternal Life Pavilion. The Eternal Life Pavilion already has two pieces in hand, now with such a good opportunity, how could they let it pass?”
“That’s true…”
The woman clicked her tongue twice again and sighed: “It seems the winner of this competition is predetermined before it even begins.”
The others seemed to understand but not quite, just nodding along.
The blue-robed woman on the second floor withdrew her gaze, leisurely pouring herself a cup of fragrant tea, lightly sniffing and taking a sip.
It took half an incense stick’s time before the blue-robed woman leisurely walked out of the inn. It was now the height of midsummer, and just at noon, when the sun was hottest. The dense crowd coming and going on the street seemed unaffected by the heat; even with their faces sunburned red, they still chatted and laughed with those around them, quite lively.
The blue-robed woman skirted around the crowd, heading towards the outskirts of the city.
The sounds of prosperity and bustle were left behind. After leaving the city gates, there were far fewer passersby, becoming quieter the further out she went, until she stopped in a grove some distance from the city.
She stood under a tree so thick it would take two people to encircle it, looking up at the colors surrounded by leaves. If one didn’t look carefully, they wouldn’t be able to tell there was a person there at all.
Shen Yao Xing, who was lying on a tree branch with her eyes closed to rest, had heard the sound from far away. She lazily rolled over, turning her back to the newcomer.
“Yao Xing, do you really plan to spend the day on this tree?” The woman’s voice teased.
Shen Yao Xing’s hand resting at her side scratched her leg, her eyes still closed, lazily “mmm”-ing in response.
The blue-robed woman under the tree sighed in feigned regret: “What a pity… This Taizhou City truly deserves its reputation as the second largest town outside the capital. The eight treasured delicacies and famous snacks inside really make one linger and dazzle the eyes…”
As she spoke, she glanced at the lazy figure in the tree. Sure enough, the hand scratching the leg paused, obviously somewhat tempted.
The corners of the blue-robed woman’s lips curved upwards slightly as she continued: “I just tasted some and hurried over to find you to go together. You… really don’t want to enter the city?”
Shen Yao Xing, who had been hungry for half a day, was truly tempted by her words, but then thought of something else and immediately suppressed her restless urge: “Then, I’ll wait for the sun to set before entering the city.”
“What will be left by sunset? Do you think they’ll wait for you?”
The woman’s cool voice shattered her fantasy. Seeing her still hesitating, she pretended to turn and leave: “If you’re not going, I’m leaving.”
“Alright, alright, alright!” Shen Yao Xing sat up on the tree branch with some irritation, using her foot strength to easily leap down from the tall tree, walking to the woman’s side with her mouth curved downwards.
In her heart, she both didn’t want to enter the city now and didn’t want to miss those delicious dishes, feeling quite conflicted and annoyed.
Meng Xin Yi, dressed in blue robes beside her, crossed her arms and watched her with amusement: “Why is it that every time we go to a new town, you’re always unwilling to enter during the day? Are you afraid of something?”
Shen Yao Xing glanced at her sideways and started walking ahead: “If we’re going into town, let’s go. Don’t ask so many useless questions.”
Meng Xin Yi shrugged and followed leisurely behind her. Looking at the fair nape of the young woman’s neck, she couldn’t help but sigh again: “Yao Xing, how did you grow such skin? It’s even more delicate than those men’s.”
Hearing this, Shen Yao Xing, walking in front, felt her scalp tingle. Although she had been in this world of reversed gender roles for over ten years, she still couldn’t shake the mindset of a traditional 21st-century woman deeply ingrained in her soul.
This kind of comparison simply made her nauseated. Shen Yao Xing turned back with an extremely disgusted expression: “Can you not gross me out?”
“……”
The city was indeed as lively as Meng Xin Yi had said. Shen Yao Xing’s eyes sparkled, yet she deliberately acted calm, resisting the urge to look left and right.
The street stalls were calling out to sell various snacks, and the rich aroma made Shen Yao Xing, who was already hungry, let down her guard. She even passed by that place of pleasure without noticing, until a whiff of rouge scent assaulted her nostrils. She quickly pinched her nose, her eyes widening as she watched a scantily clad man approach her.
“Miss, you’re from out of town, right? Come in, come sit~ It’s so much fun inside~”
Before the person even reached her, that deliberately coy voice had already pierced her ears. Shen Yao Xing felt as if she had seen a ghost, her body stiff as she covered her nose, the corner of her eye twitching as she watched that pink-clothed, white-faced unidentified object draw ever closer.
Just as the man was about to touch the hem of her clothes, she felt a blur before her eyes, and the figure in front of her suddenly disappeared. The speed was so fast that the man was startled; if it hadn’t been broad daylight, he would have thought he’d seen a ghost.
He looked towards the other woman, his face, powdered stark white, awkwardly twitching: “Miss, what’s the matter…”
Meng Xin Yi glanced at him without saying a word.
The sound of other male courtesans laughing came from behind. The man turned back and glared at them angrily, but when he turned back again, the other woman had also disappeared without a trace.
…
Shen Yao Xing fled, using her lightness skill until she was far from that place before daring to stop, leaning against a wall and breathing heavily.
That suffocating feeling of the air around her being violated made her already empty stomach churn, almost bringing up bile.
“So this is what you’re afraid of?” The familiar female voice came from behind.
Shen Yao Xing wiped the corner of her mouth, unwilling to recall the horrifying scene from earlier: “Let’s hurry and go eat.”
Meng Xin Yi, who had known her for so long, was seeing this expression on her for the first time and found it interesting: “Are you afraid of those men from the pleasure houses?”
The truth was that she was afraid of all the men in this world. Shen Yao Xing’s face remained expressionless.
“Alright, alright, I won’t ask then.” Feeling the resentment emanating from her friend, Meng Xin Yi laughed and waved her hand.
“Come on, I’ll take you to eat.”
Allowing Meng Xin Yi to lead her to the entrance of an inn, Shen Yao Xing looked up at the sign hanging above the grand door. “Four Seasons Inn,” four large characters in gold on a brown background, bold yet elegant. Waves of delicious aromas wafted out from inside.
Shen Yao Xing couldn’t help but swallow, her face still composed, but her feet already eager. She directly stepped past Meng Xin Yi in front and walked in.
The liveliness inside the inn was no less than the street market. The first floor was already full of people, and as soon as the two of them entered, a waiter came to greet them: “Welcome, honored guests! Please come in!”
“Give us a private room,” Meng Xin Yi ordered with familiarity.
“Certainly, certainly, please follow me!” The waiter smiled warmly, leading the two up to the second floor.
The small private rooms on the second floor blocked out much of the noise. While waiting for the food to be served, Shen Yao Xing propped her chin on her hand, yawning boredly, and glanced at the woman calmly drinking tea across from her: “Do you come here often?”
“Not really, including today it’s only been twice.”
“Oh.”
The wait for the food seemed a bit long to Shen Yao Xing. She walked to the window of the private room and opened it. From this position, she could clearly see the view of the first floor. Shen Yao Xing leaned on the windowsill, looking down at those dark heads from above. Amidst the complex chatter, she vaguely heard mentions of treasure hunting and Deerskin Map most frequently.
Especially the three words “Deerskin Map” were mentioned the most.
“What’s the Deerskin Map?” If you don’t know, ask. Shen Yao Xing turned back with a face full of curiosity.
Meng Xin Yi paused in pouring tea, raising her eyebrows as if somewhat surprised: “You don’t know?”
“Tsk, if I knew I wouldn’t be asking.” Shen Yao Xing pouted.
Although it was strange, Meng Xin Yi didn’t ask further, just assuming she had only recently started adventuring and didn’t know about this matter, which was understandable: “Recently, the Four Directions Association will hold a treasure hunting competition, and this treasure is that Deerskin Map.”
“Four Directions Association…” Shen Yao Xing narrowed her eyes slightly, lightly biting the three words between her teeth, pondering in her heart. Since she had run away from home, this “association” was what she had heard about the most. Even with her poor memory, she had remembered it from hearing it so often.
Meng Xin Yi nodded: “There are two major factions at the top of the jianghu, one is the Four Directions Association, and the other is the Eternal Life Pavilion. Heroes from all over the world are in the Four Directions, this Four Directions Association is full of masters, following the righteous path. People both admire and fear them.”
Wow, sounds impressive.
“Then… what about that Eternal Life Pavilion?”
Meng Xin Yi took a sip of tea, her brows slightly furrowed.
Shen Yao Xing looked puzzled: “What’s wrong?”
Meng Xin Yi shook her head, gently placing the teacup on the table, and slowly said: “This Eternal Life Pavilion is quite the opposite. There’s little intelligence about them in the jianghu, only rumors that no one who has entered the Eternal Life Pavilion has ever come out alive…”
Is it that mysterious? Shen Yao Xing expressed some disbelief.
After thinking for a moment, she suddenly realized this person hadn’t gotten to the main point: “What about that Deerskin Map? What kind of thing is it?”
Just then, the waiter came in carrying dishes: “Please enjoy your meal, honored guests.”
After the person left, Shen Yao Xing sat down eagerly, habitually taking out a handkerchief to wipe her hands, grabbed a chicken leg and started gnawing, forgetting the question she had just asked in the blink of an eye.
Meng Xin Yi was long accustomed to this, glanced at the woman’s oily hands, and calmly picked up her chopsticks.
Only after finishing the chicken leg in her hand did Shen Yao Xing look at the person opposite: “What were we just talking about?”

If you’re like me…
Too tired of reading stories where the female lead is often foolish, weak, feeble both physically and mentally, usually in a subservient and oppressed role in society such as a maid, secretary, concubine… or to put it bluntly, typically the one who has to serve and please the male lead, always needing protection and rescue from male leads, while the male lead is often described as talented, strikingly handsome, powerful,…
Then please continue reading.
Hi there, girls!
I’m Yuushi L.
Every day, movies and comics continuously reinforce the notion that women are weak, that they can only handle trivial matters in the background, that women are petty-minded and constantly jealous, mocking, and laughing at other women, while men are strong, wealthy, and solely focused on conquering the world, with countless mindless women ready to fall into their arms.
Believe me, once you read Female-dominant (FEDO) novels, your mindset will change significantly.
I am deeply inspired by strong, independent, and rational women who have the power to take control of their lives, and I am fascinated by the way society’s gender roles are reversed in this genre compared to real life.
So I have created this web with the noble purpose of promoting the “Female-dominant (FEDO)” genre of novels.
In my country, there was a rare renowned female poet in ancient times who wrote the following about the fate of women in that era:
“Damn this life of sharing a husband,
One wrapped in warmth, the other left cold.
I’d rather have stayed single from the start,
Than to endure a life so torn apart.”
Perhaps my penchant for reading female-dominant stories is partly a way of rebelling against the realities of life.
On my site, there will be stories that are not only female-dominant novels, as long as they align with my taste, featuring strong female protagonists and fresh, captivating storylines. Usually, they will be modern or fantasy novels.
I rarely read ancient novels that aren’t female-dominant because they often contain details that easily trigger me. These include the portrayal of men having multiple wives and concubines, which was considered utterly normal in ancient society, and the frequent disdain towards women.
I cannot change the world, as the societal structure that discriminates against women and elevates men has existed for thousands of years. Changing it to truly give women an equal role in society is not something that can happen overnight. If you want gender equality now, it’s laughable. It will never happen when over 90% of national and business leaders are men.
But I can start by changing the mindset of women, sisters, and young girls. Don’t just read dull slogans urging women to be strong and independent; it’s hard to imagine. Read Female-dominant (FEDO) novels to see clearly what true female empowerment looks like.
I believe there will be more and more independent and strong women who prioritize their careers and personal stability over seeking a man to rely on.
In the future, there will be more successful female entrepreneurs, politicians, and thought leaders.
As for me, I will start by making this website grow stronger day by day.
I especially like the concept of “the male lead falls in love first, the female lead is the cold-hearted and rational one, and the male lead suffers because the female lead doesn’t reciprocate his feelings.”
Therefore, you’ll see that most of the novels on my website will belong to this trope. Of course, there will be exceptions.
In the future, I also plan to write my own novels following this concept, where the female lead in my stories will never be the weaker party. I hope I can do it soon.
The novels I highly recommend will be listed under the category:
There will be exceptionally brilliant stories, but there will also be mediocre ones. As the Female-dominant (FEDO) genre has fewer authors and readers, the number of high-quality novels is limited.
Therefore, I want to promote this genre to reach a wider audience, which will encourage more talented authors to choose to write in this style, leading to the birth of more outstanding Female-dominant (FEDO) novels.
The Chinese versions of the novels I use for translation are all sourced from various websites on the internet. You know, I don’t have much budget to purchase so many novels.
Therefore, if your financial situation allows, please support the authors by purchasing the original works. You can find the original works using the Chinese titles of the novels.

WARNING:
In some novels, there are certain unhealthy ideologies and illegal actions held by the main characters (for example, treating human lives as worthless, or casually deciding to kill someone, forcing others to do things they don’t want to do, arbitrarily imprisoning others, plotting to harm others, using violence to retaliate against violence,…).
This may be because the authors are still young and inexperienced, unaware that what they’re writing goes beyond moral standards and can negatively influence young readers.
It’s important that readers under 18 years old need to recognize these are illegal actions, not permitted to be carried out in real life, always keep a clear head while reading, treat these works only as entertainment, and don’t let yourself be influenced by those plot points.
