Chapter 101
“Nonsense.” A light chuckle came from inside the bed curtains. “This is me loving you, how can it be considered bullying you?” Yan Jin asked.
The sound of fabric rustling could be heard from within the bed, along with Yan Jin’s heartfelt admiration, “Yuan Yuan, you’re so beautiful.”
A foot peeked out from the bed curtains, the jade-white toes tensed, covered in a thin layer of sweat.
Yu Shu’s voice was a bit hoarse, “Don’t look at me.”
“Why shouldn’t I look at you?” Yan Jin’s smile deepened, “Yuan Yuan is too gorgeous right now, of course I have to take a few more glances.”
With that, the sound of Yu Shu’s mouth being blocked by Yan Jin came from inside the bed, and he let out uncontrollable whimpers like a kitten.
Outside, snowflakes gradually began to fall, but inside the room, it was warm and cozy, brimming with the essence of spring.
After a long while, Yan Jin emerged from the bed curtains, her face flushed and radiant.
Her eyes and brows exuded a sense of contentment and laziness. Even with her clothes properly on, she emanated an aura of spring passion.
Although it was their first time, and Yu Shu was left unable to get out of bed, Yan Jin was so satisfied recalling the experience that even her toes couldn’t help but curl up. She let out a sigh of contentment: it was worth waiting so long for Yuan Yuan.
Yan Jin secretly rejoiced that she hadn’t missed a single supplement soup she was supposed to drink this past month, which was how she “won” against Yu Shu.
Although she was already quite impressive before, people are always greedy, wanting to continuously reach new heights.
After finishing a cup of water to replenish herself, Yan Jin refilled a cup for Yu Shu. She lifted the bed curtain and called for the exhausted Yu Shu to drink some water.
Yu Shu’s face was completely flushed, his thick, moist eyelashes drooping down, covering the eyes that had cried for a long time.
It was still the same face, but it was completely different from before. Even without opening his eyes, his entire body exuded an aura that made one’s heart race.
Yan Jin reached out to wipe the sweat from Yu Shu’s forehead. She had already wiped it once when she went to drink water earlier, but in just a short while, a thin layer of sweat had formed again on Yu Shu’s forehead.
Could it be that she had used too much force just now?
Yan Jin felt a rare twinge of guilt. She planted light kisses on Yu Shu’s forehead, “Yuan Yuan, don’t sleep yet, drink some water first.”
“I don’t want to drink.” Yu Shu, too tired to even open his eyes, mumbled, “Sleepy.”
“Be good, Yuan Yuan.” Seeing that she had worn him out like this, Yan Jin’s confidence waned further. “I’ll feed you, drink and then sleep.”
Since Yu Shu was already this tired, Yan Jin naturally didn’t want to force him awake to drink water.
So, Yan Jin took a mouthful of water from the cup and fed it to Yu Shu mouth-to-mouth.
After feeding Yu Shu the water, Yan Jin noticed him wrinkling his nose and slightly retreating, his lips moving as if saying something. Curious, she lowered her head to listen.
“So tired… no more.”
After hearing Yu Shu’s mumbling, Yan Jin felt both amused and exasperated. She gently pinched his flushed cheek.
She had just let loose a bit, unable to hold back.
Anyone who didn’t know better might think she had done something terrible to Yuan Yuan.
Half-asleep, Yu Shu sensed Yan Jin’s presence and instinctively leaned towards her.
Yan Jin noticed the fluffy little head beside her hand. The corner of her lips curled up as she took off her shoes, got into bed, and held Yu Shu, accompanying him to rest.
The drowsy Yu Shu, perceiving Yan Jin’s scent to be stronger than before, nuzzled his head against her shoulder, wrapped his arms around her, and continued sleeping.
Yu Shu was awakened by hunger. He initially thought he had slept for a long time, but when he raised his head, he saw sunlight streaming in through the window, coating the room’s furniture in a golden glow, making the entire room appear bright and warm.
Fortunately, he had only slept until noon.
Yu Shu sat up, holding the quilt, secretly relieved that he hadn’t slept for too long. Otherwise, Xiao Xiao would tease him about it for a long time.
Although he had fallen asleep in the end, it was because it was his first time and he was too exhausted. Sleeping until noon was understandable.
During the time Yu Shu was asleep, Yan Jin had come in and out several times without seeing him wake up.
Originally, Yan Jin wanted to let Yu Shu sleep a bit longer, but he had slept for too long without consuming any water. Yan Jin was worried it would affect his sleep later on, so she decided to wake him up.
Fortunately, when Yan Jin entered this time, she found that Yu Shu was awake, sitting on the bed, lost in thought while hugging the quilt.
“Yuan Yuan, you’re awake.” Yan Jin felt relieved. “I bought some food, let’s eat something first.”
